Dark Souls 3, similar to Elden Ring, is a notoriously difficult video game, taking HOURS to progress just a small amount. For this reason, many gamers may opt to give themselves… a bit of a helping hand… using Cheat Engine—whether it is through cheating health, souls, or levels.
Dark Souls 3 Cheat Table Download
First and foremost, the player must first have downloaded the Dark Souls 3 cheat table because it’s the script that allows all the hacks to be toggled easily.
In CheaterForge‘s opinion, the best table out there is inuNorii’s free GitHub table, which can be downloaded here.

Depending on when you’re downloading the table, click on the .zip
file that is named something like “DS3 TGA v3.1.1.zip”
Dark Souls 3 Cheat Engine Tutorial
Now that you’ve downloaded the Dark Souls 3 Cheat Table, start by opening both Cheat Engine and Dark Souls 3. When Dark Souls 3 has loaded, load your save file and ensure you’re in a safe place free of any enemies.
Tab back into Cheat Engine and select the PC in the top-left of the engine. Select the Dark Souls process.

With the Dark Souls process selected, drag the previously downloaded Dark Souls Cheat Table into the options sections. Do this by opening the file location where you downloaded the table. This most likely will be either your Downloads folder or Desktop.

Once the table has been dragged into the options section, the list of Dark Souls 3 cheats and hacks will become available. Players can toggle the various hacks by clicking the box to the item’s left.
Dark Souls 3 Cheat Engine Not Working
In the event that your Cheat Engine doesn’t work with Dark Souls 3, there may be a few solutions you can try to troubleshoot the issue.
The first and most likely reason is the cheat table is out-of-date and incompatible with the version of Dark Souls 3 you’re playing. If this is the case, you can try searching for a more up-to-date table; otherwise, the hacks won’t work.
Another user has also reported that their Dark Souls was messed up, and the only solution was to uninstall and reinstall the game. With this in mind, it may be the case your game may be glitched.
Can Cheat Engine Get You Banned on Dark Souls?
It is absolutely the case that using Cheat Engine in Dark Souls 3 will *technically* result in a ban; in reality, though, it’s unlikely you’ll get caught because the developers haven’t added an effective anti-cheat.
With this in mind, however, we’d suggest you only use Cheat Engine in your second playthrough because it will likely ruin your experience.
